What scares us is not our shadows,
Nothing’s edified about shrinking
So that the light of others can glow.
We are meant to shine as stars do;
It’s in everyone, not just in the few!
When we let our light shine,
We empower others to grow.
As we conquer our own fears
Our victory emancipates everyone.
Our greatest fear is not that we are inefficient;
Our greatest fear is that we are overwhelming.
It’s our light not our darkness that frightens us
It’s our light that brings forth the hero in us.
